The international life of a car L'histoire d'une Citroën Saxo (modèle 2000) a démarré en France en 2001, dans un village à 40kms au Nord de Strasbourg. Elle a été acheté neuve par mon père. En 2013 je conviens avec mon frère de la racheter et de la ramener à Sofia en Bulgarie. Ce sera donc avec un ami français, également domicilié à Sofia, que nous nous rendrons en Alsace afin de la récupérer. Très rapidement elle aura des plaques bulgares - Elle stationnera souvent à l'abri des intempéries dans le sous-sol de mon immeuble - ne roulera jamais en hiver. Mais le temps était venu pour moi de la vendre car 58000 kms en 23 ans c'est trop peu - la décision a été difficile à prendre car j'avais l'impression de trahir la mémoire de mon père. - Elle a été insérée sur un site de vente bulgare et a fait un tabac ! Annonce vue plus de 390 fois ! - les appels ont vite afflué mais la plupart désiraient la transformer pour la faire rouler au GAZ ! Carburant largement privilégié en Bulgarie ! Sauf que ce modèle de 2000 n'était pas adapté ou du moins l'aurait été avec peu d'efficacité ! Elle a fait en moins de 30mn un dernier contrôle technique (en Bulgarie c'est tous les ans !) sans aucune détection de défauts ! She did a last technical inspection in less than 30 minutes (in Bulgaria it's every year !) without any fault detection !

Après un rapide nettoyage elle était prête à accueillir un nouveau propriétaire qui la laisserait continuer de rouler à l'essence 95 !!

Février 2023: Le client trouvée, le plus dur m'attendait: le passage devant notaire (avec l'acheteur et bien sûr mon épouse !) pour faire le contrat de vente ! présentation des documents suivants: certificat d'immatriculation - contrôle technique - assurance véhicule en cours - document d'estimation de la valeur du véhicule (il déterminera les frais de notaire) - récépissé des taxes communales payées - passeport et carte d'identité bulgare. - 30mn plus tard, en compagnie de l'acheteur et une quinzaine de signatures et de "lu et approuvé" nous pouvons souffler - la vente est soldée !
